Pupil Voice

Our pupil council aims to meet once per half term. We use these meetings to promote pupil voice, choice making, communication and listening skills. We pride ourselves on making things work for everyone, hence the different types of feedback we receive; verbal communication, PODD, pictures, pupil voice advocates expressing this, switches, gesture, written feedback and so much more!

School Council

  • Represent all pupils and include the views of as many pupils as possible
  • Put pupil voice at the centre of learning and pupil council meetings
  • Ensure everyone has time to communicate their views and listen to others’
  • Take action

We invite 1 representative per class to attend the meeting to feedback views, opinions, and thoughts of their class team.

Pupil voice advocates are vital within these meetings to support pupils at all levels with communication about things important to them.

We pride ourselves at being able to adapt all topics discussed to suit the varying needs of our pupils and we invite new ideas and methods of sharing this throughout the meetings.
