School Day and Transport Arrangements
St John’s School operates from 9:05am to 3:20pm. We are open for a total of 31 hours and 15 minutes per week.
Morning transport begins arriving from approximately 8:50am. To support a calm and successful start to the day, pupils are welcomed into school in planned transition waves from 9:05am, with registration taking place at 9:30am.
Afternoon transport begins arriving from approximately 2:50pm. Pupils begin transitioning to transport in waves from 3:00pm, with the main loading period taking place at around 3:10pm. Vehicles typically depart between 3:20pm and 3:30pm. Some pupils may leave slightly earlier or later than these times where alternative arrangements have been agreed between the family, transport provider and school.
Please note that transport timings are approximate and may occasionally vary due to traffic conditions, emergencies, or individual pupil needs during transitions.
Transport providers allocate collection and drop-off times to ensure safe and efficient journeys for all pupils and families. If you have any queries regarding school transport, please contact the transport team within your home local authority directly.
