Jubilee Fun
We have had a very royal time this week preparing to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee! Students have loved making crowns, exploring Union Jack themed sensory trays and learning all about the Queen. Throughout the week pupils invited one another to Thursday’s Jubilee street party held in the playground for everyone to enjoy. With a special visit from her Majesty and the ice-cream man, St John’s was full of happy faces!
Primary
Pupils have loved being back in the Dinner Hall as they have been able to enjoy their lunches with their friends again – as you can tell from all of their very eager faces!
KCA's Plant Sale
Our students over at KCA have been busy planting seeds since April as part of their enterprise project. The plants, consisting of Cosmos, Lobelia, Marigolds and Anthurium, have now all grown and are being sold to St John’s staff and families. The money raised by students will go towards treats for them at the end of term!

Sounds good to me
Thank you to Paul from Michael R Peters who has supplied and installed a new up-to-date sound system in the hall to replace our old broken one. We look forward to using this in the future for many different things such as PE, productions, and assemblies.
An arresting and informative visit
We have learnt about the role of a Police Officer . S2 have been having weekly visits from PC Viv Dady, she has been teaching us all about the roles of a Police Officer, the uniform and equipment used , what custody is, PC Dady also spoke about what you can be arrested for and what happens when you are arrested and online safety.
